BNSF HOBART YARD COMPLEX AUTOMATED GATE SYSTEM (AGS) PROJECT:
Remprex Engineering, a leading provider of design, construction management, and construction of new and existing rail facilities, has been awarded the Design Engineering and Construction Management Services for the BNSF Hobart Intermodal Terminal Automated Gate System Project located in Los Angeles, California. The project consists of the remaining survey necessary for the completion of the preliminary design effort, including the development of civil and electrical plans and specifications to 100% completion. This project includes pavement section design; demolition; grading; hydrological/drainage evaluation, and the modification of existing storm water conveyances; structural foundation design including geotechnical investigations; traffic flow; space utilization; and the final electrical and lighting plans that will accommodate both the power requirements and technological upgrade necessary for the Automated Gate System. Remprex will coordinate with NASCENT Technology to meet Automated Gate System Design and Operational requirements.
