Our design and project management staff will work closely in coordination with the state, local, and any county standards. Our scope of projects have served ranges from small local construction projects to large-scale national commercial construction.
Specific services include the following:
Initial Site Visit / Due Diligence
 Attend site visit with construction team members and terminals management team.
 Gather existing plan information if available commonly known “As Builds”.
 Establish site requirements for truck lanes, lane queuing, and general circulation
 Review electric Restraints and location of existing facilities.
Sketch Plan
 Attend site visit with construction team members and terminals management team.
 Attend team coordination meeting to review proposed facility layout.
 Make site plan adjustments as needed for construction and team concurrence.
Existing Conditions Survey
 Establish a minimum of two on-site benchmarks with reference to NAVD (site elevations) datum.
 Perform topographic survey on the proposed area of improvements.
 Field verification of above ground and visible existing utilities and substantial visible improvements.
 Stake boring locations for Geotechnical Consultant.
 Obtain location of all utilities adjacent to property as needed and show invert elevations where critical to the design of the new facilities.
 Prepare drawing showing existing conditions with all site information needed to complete final design.
Geotechnical Review
 Perform 4 site borings at locations of proposed structures. Boring extending 10 to 15 feet below existing grade.
 Based on boring results, prepare summary report detailing any geotechnical concerns that may exist on site.
 Provide soil bearing capacity for building foundation design.
 Provide pavement section recommendations for any new pavement proposed on site.
Final Site Plan
 Prepare final site plan for design team and client approval. Plan will show dimensions and locations of all proposed structures, location of any new pavement, and pavement markings and signage.
 Submit final site plan to client for approval.
Electrical Design
 Prepare Construction drawings for any proposed improvements needed to supply electrical to on site equipment:
- Proper service size.
- Transformer location and size.
- Conduit sizes and locations
Construction Documents
 Prepare site construction documents based on final site plan. Construction documents shall include:
- Pavement locations and specifications.
- Existing and proposed grade elevations.
- Storm drains and piping required to supply drainage to the roof drains and proposed buildings.
- Erosion control measures as required.
- Material specifications and construction sequence.
Survey Control / Staking Set Up
 Provide survey control and staking set up so that contractor or local survey crew can perform site layout as needed.
Construction Administration
 Perform four site borings at locations of proposed structures. Boring extending 10 to 15 feet below existing grade.
 Provide consultation during construction to assist contractor(s) with construction and coordination questions.
 Attend team or project management meetings as needed or required.
 Perform site visits if needed.
